The NFL’s International Impact

America’s most popular game is gaining a dedicated following overseas. The NFL’s grassroot efforts continue growing football’s international footprint, building a new global fanbase and inspiring athletes around the world to play football. 

"American football is for all. It’s a global game, an all-inclusive sport, that provides the opportunity for all ages to enjoy the values, fun and competitive environment unique to the sport of football,” said Troy Vincent, Sr., Executive Vice President of NFL Football Operations. “The NFL is committed to expanding NFL action to international fans in their home countries and developing young athletes around the world." 

The NFL’s international initiatives help the league and its clubs to: 

  • Grow the game. Partnerships with the International Federation of American Football and NFL FLAG help young players around the world get in the game and discover that football is for everyone.
