The NFL and its military nonprofit partner, the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), will host exclusive events for surviving U.K. and American military families in London from Oct. 26-28. The events will culminate with the Eagles-Jaguars game at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 28.

The Diana Award and KPMG will host surviving families at a kickoff dinner with Bonnie Carroll, TAPS President and Founder. Activities throughout the weekend include a visit to the U.S. Embassy, a private tour of the Althorp Estate and a dinner on base with the Royal Corps of Signals.

Surviving children and young adults will take part in a series of workshops led by The Diana Award, an organization founded as a legacy to Princess Diana. Families will attend the Eagles' practice on Saturday and participate in a meet-and-greet with players and coaches. The weekend concludes with the Eagles-Jaguars game on Sunday.

"It's an extraordinary experience to bring together American and British military families whose loved ones stood shoulder-to-shoulder when called upon to defend their freedoms,” said Carroll. “Partnerships with organizations like Scotty's Little Soldiers and The Diana Award help to create international reconciliation and connections of hope, healing and care."

"The NFL is proud to support TAPS as they continue their incredible work in the United States and extend support to families abroad."

The NFL and TAPS partnership offers families the opportunity to unite around football, extend their network of support and move forward on their grief journey. Scotty's Little Soldiers, a local organization that brings comfort and care to bereaved children of military parents, will also partner with the organizations for the weekend’s events.
