The NFL and the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), which provides care for families of fallen American military service members, will host an exclusive experience for surviving military families this upcoming weekend in London.

Events will bring together families from both the United States and United Kingdom. Activities throughout the weekend include a visit to Winfield House – home of the American Ambassador to the United Kingdom, a memorial walk in Kensington Gardens led by CEO of the Diana Award, Tessy Ojo followed by a tour of Kensington Palace.

The families will also have a guided tour of the Tower of London where families will lay a wreath in honor of the fallen heroes from the US and UK. They will then attend the Raiders’ practice on Saturday and participate in a meet-and-greet with players and coaches. The weekend experience concludes with the Bears-Raiders game on Sunday.

“The NFL is proud to work with TAPS and to be a part of the work they're doing both domestically and internationally for military families," said Anna Isaacson, NFL Senior Vice President of Social Responsibility. “This is the third consecutive year we've been able to unite survivors on both sides of the Atlantic and we look forward to continuing this for years to come.”

The NFL and TAPS partnership offers families the opportunity to come together around football, extend their network of support and move forward on their grief journey.
